Nairobi Railways Bus Station: Where is it and how does it work?

Well, the Nairobi Railways Bus station is found adjacent to the old Nairobi Railway Station. The entry to the Nairobi Railways bus station is to be found where Moi Avenue joins Haile Selasie avenue. The bus station is opposite the Belly Bottom building (cooperative house), and also across the 1998 Nairobi American Embassy Bomb Blast memorial park.
Although the routes whose matatus and buses terminate at Nairobil Railways bus station keep on changing, the last time I checked, some of those that terminated there included the Syokimau, Mlolongo, Athiriver Kitengela matatus and buses, the Ongata Rongai matatus and buses, the Ngong’ Kiserian matatus and buses, the Kibera number 8 matatus and buses, some of the Kawangware matatus and buses among others.
Upon getting to the Nairobi Railways bus station, you will tend to find boards placed on top of the vehicles that are currently carrying, indicating the respective vehicle’s routes. You are also likely to find touts shouting the names of the routes that the vehicles they are touting for are serving. It is therefore highly unlikely that you would have a difficult time finding the matatu or bus route you are looking for within the Nairobi Railways bus stage (as long as you know where you are going).
